HORSEMANSHIP

This word means many things to many people. Our goal at Round Meadow Farm is to provide an atmosphere which fosters the development of the horse and rider combination in all aspects of riding. We believe providing a safe and professional environment will open the doors to learning, growing and fun. We aim to pass on our skills as horsemen not only with respect to riding but also with regard to the care of the horses. The relationship we share with a horse is like no other and there is much to be learned from them. Our goal is to help people along the way in their journey to understanding the true nature of horsemanship.

NICOLE BLOOM

Nicole became passionately involved with horses as a young girl and continues to be dedicated to the equestrian sport as an adult. She has had the honor of working with many of the masters in the industry on both the west and east coasts. She credits her abilities to having worked with a broad spectrum of horse professionals including, Karen Healy, George Morris, Jimmy Williams, Susan Hutchinson, Frank Madden, and Carleton Brooks. Nicole was a member of the Zone 10 team and competed nationally at the North American Young Riders Championships and the Junior Jumper Championships. Nicole also competed and placed at the prestigious national equitation championships and the Fall Indoor Shows.

Her professional career has been focused on developing horses and riders in to competitive showing combinations. Her students have competed and placed in the AHSA National Pony Finals, The Eisers/Pessoa USEF Medal Finals, the ASPCA Maclay Finals, the USET Medal finals, as well as many regional medal finals and year end championships.

She credits the strength of her student/coach relationships on her straight forward approach and her love of working with students from the beginning. Identifying short and long term goals helps direct the path that each student takes, and she believes that developing long term relationships with her students encourages learning through trust and confidence in one's surroundings.

Nicole is a proud member of the United States Equestrian Federation, the Pacific Coast Horse Show Association, the California Professional Horse Shows Association, the USET, ASPCA, and sits on the Board of Directors for the Northern California Horse Shows Association.
