Team RMF would like to announce a few new horse and rider combinations that you are sure to see in the Winner's Circle soon:
Isabelle Henriquez on the purchase of the Champion Medium Pony, Trenton from Madeline Dillabough. This up and coming pair were recently champion in the Short Stirrup at the Woodside Spring Classic, and we just know that this duo will be leaving their mark on Pony rings everywhere.
Madeline Dillabough on the purchase of the wonderful Small Junior Hunter/Equitation horse Gameboy from Jessica Tali. What a great way to make the transition from pony to horse! Watch for them as rising stars in a Hunter ring near you.
We are thrilled to be keeping both of these lovely animals in the Team RMF program, and are sure they will continue in their winning ways. Congratulations!
Congratulations to Carrie Cella of Estancia Equestrian on the lease of the fabulous Equitation Horse, Bradley. You have always been one of our favorite competitors, and know that the two of you are going to be superstars!
We would also like to welcome Catherine Harvey and Rhys Farms, LLC's newest imports Amber Van Spieveld and Loriot. 'Amber' is a 10 year old Belgian warmblood mare that had most recently been competing with Hanno Ellerman of Estonia as his Nation's Cup mount. With a strong start in Northern California and a Canadian Summer tour ahead of them, Nicole and Amber hope to be making their World Cup Debut this fall. 'Loriot' is an 8 year old Westphalen stallion by Lancer III and will be campaigned in the Hunter, Jumper and Equitation rings. His amazing temperament and athletic jumping style are sure to make him a judge, rider, and breeder's favorite.

Team RMF would like to welcome “Tiramisu” to the barn. Tiramisu comes to us from Meredith Herman and Burgundy Farms and has been leased by Miss Haley Sherwood-Coombs. Haley is super excited about showing in the jumper rings and can’t wait to tear it up at Spruce Meadows this summer! Watch for this super fast team in the Children’s and Modified Junior Jumpers.

TEAM RMF would like to welcome our two newest members to the barn, Maudie Frye and Bettina Giglio. Maudie has leased the wonderful gelding Willow from Catherine and Bettina has just purchased Moe Joe from Haley Sherwood-Coombs. We are so excited to be working with these new horse and rider combinations and are looking forward to what the future holds for them!
Nicole has just returned from Belgium and we hear there are some exciting things in the works for 2010, check back here for future updates!
TEAM RMF will be kicking off the 2010 Show Year with the Northern Winter Classic Horse Shows in Rancho Murieta, keep your eye on the results at www.northernwinterclassic.com. Good luck to all of our riders!
Winter 2010
Round Meadow Farm would very much like to welcome Nathan Stiles to our team as Assistant Trainer. Joining Nathan are Cat Chicotka and her horses Touch of Dutch and Primavera, Christy Schroeder and her horse Pavarotti, and Alison Cronan. All of us would like to extend a warm TEAM RMF welcome to you, Let’s plan on winning lots of tri-colors together!
Also joining our team are Kathi Jaggi and her young horse Darby, who we hope to see in the Pre-Green and Adult Hunter divisions very soon, and Sarah Hansen and her horse Remi, who already is a contender in the jumper rings. We are so glad you are here!
A big congratulations goes out to Eleanor Raab on the purchase of her new large pony, Gold Rush, affectionately known as “Ladd” around the stables. Ladd came to us from Nevada and our good friend Wendy Brownlee from Brownlee Equestrian. We know this duo have a great future together in the pony rings!
More college bound riders... Congratulations to Ramsay Kubal on your admission to Washington and Lee University in Virginia! We just know you are going to love it there! Congratulations also go out to our former assistant, Zoe McCarthy on your admission to Santa Barbara City College, you will be greatly missed, but know that those tide pools are calling your name!
Winter-Spring 2009
We would like to welcome a few new additions to our stable that arrived this past winter. Tebbens, imported from Belgium, has made his debut in the Adult Jumper ring with Katie Foster. They are off to a great start, winning the Northern Winter Classic Children’s Adult Jumper Classic, and also winning Reserve Champion in the Adult Jumper Division. Congratulations to them both and we look forward to more of the same in the future! Thanks go to Neil Jones and his team for helping us match this successful pair.
Congratulations also go out to Peggy Munkdale on the purchase of the spectacular mare Enfuego from Mandy Porter of ACP Enterprises. “Lucy” as she is known around the barn has become a fast favorite to watch during lessons because of her incredible athleticism. Before arriving at RMF, she and Mandy had been successful in Grand Prix Arenas all over North America, most notably winning second in the prestigious Spruce Meadows Derby. We just know we are going to see great things from this team in the future.
Our last addition also comes to us from Neil Jones, Uppside, also known as “Cleo”, will be making her debut in the Low Junior Jumper Ring with her new owner Ramsay Kubal this spring. She has come to California from Holland and so far has taken a real liking to California. We can’t wait to see what this duo has in store for us, We hear there are some speed records to be broken!
Team RMF would also like to bring to your attention some of our newest members, we proudly welcome Maryann Raab and her horses Irish, Gibson and Sinaloa. She has been a bright spot in our days, always with a great smile and cheerful attitude. Mackenzie Simmonds has also joined our team and hopes to follow in the footsteps of some of our graduated Juniors, with her eyes on the the Big Eq. Finals. Thanks for choosing us, We are so happy you decided to become part of our team!
